Colabora en Mi Camino a USA
Sobre el autor
Arequipa, Peru. Late twenties, trained as a graphic designer and works freelance. She is in the middle of her own process of trying to move to the United States -- in her case through an artistic/creative route while also helping her younger brother chase a sports scholarship, so she has had to learn the O-1 world and the student-athlete world at the same time. She keeps a running journal of the whole messy thing: the forms that made no sense, the week she almost gave up, the consultation that finally clarified one question. She is not a lawyer and says so constantly; this is a diary, not advice. She writes the way you would text a friend about to start the same process -- honest about the fear and the waiting, careful never to present her own path as a template, quick to say 'I paid a real immigration lawyer for the part that actually mattered.'
